☾ the numbers speak. we learn how to listen.
☾ the numbers speak. we learn how to listen.
YOU ALREADY KNOW SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE.
You can feel it. The business is making money, moving money, spending money, but you do not feel like you have enough usable financial information to confidently decide what comes next.
Maybe you are earning more than you used to, but keeping less than expected. Maybe your books are behind. Maybe you have been making decisions based on the balance in your bank account because no one has helped you understand what the rest of the numbers are actually saying.
You know instinct matters. But when you are deciding what to pay yourself, what the business can afford, what needs to change, or what you need to earn next, instinct should not have to carry the whole decision.
That is where Fortune Teller comes in.
Fortune Teller is a six-week private financial diagnostic and forecasting experience designed to help you understand where your business stands, what your numbers are revealing, and what needs to happen next.
And because financial decisions are made by humans, we also make room for the fear, urgency, avoidance, or shame that may surface as we look at the numbers.
We look backward to understand what happened, work with what is happening now, and use that information to build a financial path forward.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUSINESS OWNER WITH MONEY. IT IS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOUR BUSINESS HAS ALREADY BEEN TELLING YOU, REPAIRING WHAT NEEDS ATTENTION, AND MAKING FINANCIAL DECISIONS WITHOUT IGNORING THE HUMAN BEING MAKING THEM.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU’RE READY TO:
✔ Understand what your business numbers are actually telling you
✔ Stop using your bank balance as your primary financial decision-making tool
✔ Know what your business actually costs to operate, support you, and prepare for what comes next
✔ Identify where money is being generated, where it is being absorbed, and what needs your attention
✔ Catch up on financial information you have been avoiding or have not known how to organize
✔ Make more informed decisions about owner pay, spending, taxes, saving, hiring, pricing, and investing
✔ Understand what your current financial patterns could mean for the next 3–6 months
✔ Notice when fear, urgency, avoidance, or old financial habits are influencing a business decision
✔ Work with your numbers without treating every uncomfortable financial discovery as evidence that you have failed
✔ Receive strategic financial guidance without being judged, rushed, shamed, or spoken down to
WHAT’S INSIDE FORTUNE TELLER:
Over six weeks, we move from understanding where your business stands today to seeing what your numbers suggest about where it is headed and what needs to change along the way.
Not every week requires another meeting. Some of the most important work happens between our sessions while I review, analyze, calculate, forecast, and prepare what we need for the next stage of our work.
Week 1:
Your Financial Reality
We begin with your financial intake, welcome call, and an assessment of where the business stands today.
We look at revenue, expenses, cash, debt, taxes, owner pay, bookkeeping, immediate obligations, and the financial questions that brought you here.
We also establish what would help you stay engaged with the process if uncomfortable information, uncertainty, or financial pressure arises.
Week 2:
Following The Money
I begin tracing how money moves through your business: where it comes from, where it goes, what it costs to keep the business running, and where cash may be getting absorbed faster than expected.
Together, we begin separating what the financial information is actually showing us from the assumptions, fear, or urgency that may surround it.
Week 3:
Reading The Patterns
We look across revenue, spending, profitability, cash flow, owner pay, and financial decisions to identify patterns.
This is also where we notice the human patterns surrounding the numbers.
Where do you consistently avoid? Where do you overextend? Where does financial uncertainty lead to immediate action? Where might an old habit be influencing a current business decision?
We notice those patterns so they can inform the financial plan, not quietly run it.
Week 4:
What Does Your Business Need?
We calculate what the business actually needs to operate, support you, prepare for taxes and obligations, and create room for future growth.
This is where we begin defining your Survival, Sustainable, and Expansion numbers.
And we consider capacity alongside the math. A financial strategy is only useful if the business and the person running it can realistically support it.
Week 5:
Forecasting What Comes Next
We use what we have learned to look forward.
We model the next 3–6 months, explore what happens if current patterns continue, and identify financial shifts that could change the direction of the business.
We consider not only what is mathematically possible, but what your current capacity, resources, obligations, and support systems can reasonably carry.
Week 6:
Your Financial Direction
We bring everything together into your personalized Fortune Teller Forecast.
Your current financial position. Revenue requirements. Cash-flow considerations. Financial risks. Priorities. Recommendations. And the decisions that deserve your attention next.
We also identify where implementation may feel difficult, what could pull you back into old financial patterns, and what support or structure may make the plan easier to use in real life.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE:
*Private financial analysis, personalized guidance, and practical tools built around the actual needs and numbers of your business.
-
You will receive a brief 60-minute private welcome and onboarding call, followed by three 60–90 minute financial strategy sessions throughout our core work together.
Our sessions are intentionally spaced to give me time between calls to review your books, analyze your numbers, complete calculations, identify patterns, and prepare the financial work that informs our next conversation.
This is not a six-week coaching container where the work only happens when we are on Zoom.
The analysis happening between our sessions is part of Fortune Teller.
-
You will have a private Slack space throughout our work together for questions, reflections, documents, and financial support between sessions.
This is also where we can work with what happens when the numbers leave the spreadsheet and meet real life.
If you notice yourself avoiding a financial task, panicking about a decision we have already calculated, feeling pressure to change everything immediately, or getting stuck while implementing a recommendation, bring it into the conversation.
After our core work concludes, you will receive an additional 14 days of Slack-only integration support to begin putting your recommendations into practice and ask follow-up questions related to our work together.
The integration period does not include additional live sessions, new financial analysis, or expanded bookkeeping work.
-
You will receive practical tools designed to help us turn your financial information into decisions.
Depending on the needs of your business, this may include cash-flow planning, revenue calculations, expense reviews, owner-pay planning, tax reserve guidance, financial priority exercises, and your Survival, Sustainable + Expansion numbers.
These are not generic worksheets for you to complete and forget about. We use them together as part of the work.
-
At the end of our work together, you will receive your personalized Fortune Teller Forecast.
This brings together what we discovered about your current financial position, revenue requirements, cash flow, risks, priorities, and the financial direction of your business over the next 3–6 months.
Think of it as the document that answers:
Where are we now? What happens if we keep going this way? And what deserves to change next?
-
Your books do not have to be perfect before you enter Fortune Teller.
If your bookkeeping is current, we work from what already exists.
If moderate corrections are needed for us to accurately understand your numbers, those may be addressed within the engagement.
If substantial current-year catch-up bookkeeping is required, you will have two pathways: complete the catch-up with our guidance or add done-for-you catch-up bookkeeping to your Fortune Teller engagement for an additional investment.
-
Your financial information does not exist separately from the person making decisions with it.
Throughout Fortune Teller, we pay attention to what happens when you encounter your numbers.
Fear. Avoidance. Urgency. Shame. Overgiving. The impulse to rescue the business. Difficulty paying yourself. Financial decisions made to relieve immediate discomfort rather than support the business long term.
We make room to notice these responses and consider how they may be influencing the financial decisions in front of you.
This is not therapy, and Fortune Teller is not a money-healing container. We are not spending six weeks excavating every belief you have ever had about money.
We are making sure the human being using the financial plan is not ignored while we build it.
about your guide
Meet KAREN GARGISO
WHAT I’M ALL ABOUT
I believe your financial numbers should give you more information, not more reasons to feel ashamed of yourself.
I’m Karen Gargiso, founder of Sacred Money Inc. I’m an accountant, bookkeeper, fractional CFO, and trauma-informed money practitioner who has spent years helping business owners understand what is actually happening beneath the revenue they are bringing in.
My work lives at the intersection of accounting, financial strategy, behavior, and the very human experience of having money in a business.
I can read the profit and loss statement, trace what is happening with your cash, notice where the financial structure is breaking down, and help you make sense of what those numbers mean for the decisions in front of you.
But I also know that financial information does not exist in a vacuum. Avoidance, fear, overgiving, survival, ambition, capacity, and the pressure to keep a business alive can all shape the way we interact with money.
Fortune Teller brings those worlds together without asking either one to disappear.
We use the financial information to understand where your business has been, where it stands now, and where the current patterns may be taking it.
And while we do that, we make room for the very human responses that can influence what you do with that information once you have it.
IMAGINE 6 WEEKS FROM NOW...
YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR BUSINESS ACTUALLY COSTS TO RUN.
YOU UNDERSTAND WHERE YOUR MONEY HAS BEEN GOING AND
WHAT YOUR NUMBERS ARE ASKING YOU TO PAY ATTENTION TO.
YOU HAVE A CLEARER SENSE OF WHAT YOU CAN PAY YOURSELF, WHAT NEEDS
TO BE RESERVED, AND WHAT THE BUSINESS CAN REALISTICALLY SUPPORT.
YOU CAN NOTICE WHEN FEAR OR URGENCY IS ENTERING A FINANCIAL DECISION
WITHOUT AUTOMATICALLY LETTING IT MAKE THE DECISION FOR YOU.
YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOUR CURRENT FINANCIAL PATTERNS COULD MEAN FOR THE NEXT 3–6 MONTHS.
YOU HAVE A FINANCIAL DIRECTION FOR WHAT COMES NEXT, INSTEAD OF
MAKING EVERY DECISION FROM THE BALANCE IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.

But you will not be expected to take everything we uncovered and figure out the implementation alone the next morning.

Fortune Teller is first and foremost a business financial diagnostic, interpretation, and forecasting engagement.
However, financial decisions are made by people, and people can experience fear, avoidance, urgency, shame, or other responses when encountering their numbers.
When those responses arise within our financial work, we can notice them, make room for them, and consider how they may be influencing the decision in front of you.
We are not using Fortune Teller to deeply process trauma, unpack your entire money story, or replace mental health care.
If you want a container where your emotional, relational, somatic, and behavioral relationship with money is the primary focus, Financial Intimacy may be the more appropriate Sacred Money offering.
YOU DON’T NEED TO KNOW EVERY ANSWER BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
YOU JUST NEED TO BE READY TO LOOK AT WHAT YOUR BUSINESS HAS BEEN TELLING YOU.
Maybe the books are behind.
Maybe the numbers are technically there, but you still do not know what to do with them.
Maybe you have spent long enough making financial decisions without enough information.
You do not have to solve all of that before entering Fortune Teller.
We begin with where your business actually is.
That includes the numbers in front of us and the responses those numbers may bring up.
Then we read the financial information, repair what needs attention, and build a direction you can begin using from there.
If you’re ready to stop guessing what comes next, Fortune Teller is here.
